Craftsmanship

Every detail, considered

Quality isn't a claim we make — it's something you can see and feel in the fabric, the fit, and the finish of every piece.
01

Fabric

We source natural, breathable materials chosen for how they age, not just how they look on day one. Every fabric is tested for weight, drape and durability before it becomes a House of Alan piece.

02

Fit

Each pattern is developed and refit across multiple sample rounds before approval. We design for how a garment moves with the body, not just how it measures on paper.

03

Collar

Collars are cut and interfaced by hand to hold their shape wash after wash. It’s a small detail that shows in how a shirt sits, long after most others have gone soft.

04

Finish

Buttons, seams and hems are finished to a standard that holds up to daily wear. Nothing leaves our workshop with a loose thread or an unfinished edge.

05

Construction

Reinforced seams, French-finished edges and considered stitch density are built into every piece — construction choices you feel more than you see.
